Next Chipping and trash Event June 10, 2023 don't miss it
First of all, Welcome to our website! I hope you find the information you are seeking and if you have any questions please feel free to contact us through our website, social media links, email or phones. Please know that we are committed to help you in any way we can.
We are all residents of the Rural San Diego Fire Safe Council Area, therefore we all have a vested interest in helping our community and serving as a resource to obtain, secure and deliver fire prevention resources to the community that are currently available and some of our community is in desperate need of. Part of what we do is look at the community and create projects that will make our area less likely to have another fire disaster like fuel breaks, fuel reduction projects, look at evacuation routes and prepare our community for the worst. The other part is help our community secure the funds to do some of these projects on public and on private land as well.
As the President of the Fire Safe Council, my goal is to serve you in the best way I know how. I was in the Marines was stationed in Camp Pendleton for the last couple of years of my service, and that made San Diego my hometown. Since then, I've obtained an Associates in Finance from Southwestern College, a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Masters in Business Administration. I worked for HSBC Auto Finance for about 10 years and during that time worked my way from Consumer sales, to a Credit officer, to a Sr. Credit Officer, became the Vice President of credit/funding Operations for Southern California and Became the Vice President of Sales for San Diego. I've been a Farmers Insurance Agent since late 2008, once HSBC Auto Finance fired all 25,000 employees on an email in August of that year. After managing billions of dollars for the 2nd largest bank in the world, I decided to go into business for myself, in a business that is recession proof and you get to help people protect what they've worked so hard to achieve. Since then, I've had an office in La Mesa and continue to serve my customers and friends.
I feel that there is a high probability that we will make some mistakes along the way, but please know that we are acting with the best intentions at heart and with the benefit of the community at the forefront. We are working on the organizational aspect and creating an organization that is fully transparent. Over the next few weeks, this website will serve as the main hub for all information related to the Fire Safe Council. Anything from events, members of the board, meetings, guests, resources as well as accounting information and reports will be made public through this website to ensure transparency. We need your support and understand that there are way too many scams out there, so we want to assure you that we are not paid employees, we are all volunteers and every penny we receive will be used to help our community.
On behalf of the Board and myself, we consider you and your family an extension of our family and it is our mission to make a serious impact in our community by helping us avoid future disasters, make our community more attractive for fire insurance companies, and businesses while protecting our family, our property, our animals and our way of life.
Thank you for your time and your support!
